Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing Preceptor Program

Ms. Khan of Newton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0020, in line 19, by inserting after "health" the following: "; provided further that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the Executive Office of Health and Human Services to establish a preceptor pilot program for psychiatric advanced practice nursing students to expand clinical placement opportunities and increase the number of psychiatric advanced practice nurses practicing in the Commonwealth, especially in community settings with underserved populations; and in said item 4000-0020, by striking out the figure “$900,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “$1,150,000”.
