Amendment #258 to H4600

Prison Mitigation

Mr. D'Emilia of Bridgewater moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 8900-0001, in line 35, by inserting after the word "representatives”, the following:-

"; and provided further, that the department shall expend not less than $2,500,000 for municipalities hosting department of correction facilities; provided further, that each municipality hosting a department of correction facility’s share of the total $2,500,000 shall be divided equally per inmate, to be determined at the start of each fiscal year;”

;and in said item by striking out the following figures "$780,783,548" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$783,283,548".
