AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE MIDDLEBOROUGH GAS AND ELECTRIC BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN THE TOWN OF MIDDLEBOROUGH
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first sentence of section 3A of the charter of the town of Middleborough, which is on file with the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the word “board” the following words:-, currently known as the Middleborough gas and electric board of commissioners.
SECTION 2. The fourth sentence of said section 3A of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “board so” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- board, currently known as the Middleborough gas and electric board of commissioners so.
SECTION 3. Subsection (c) of section 17 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the word “in” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- on.
SECTION 4. The first sentence of clause (m) of section 19 of said charter in chapter 425 of the acts of 2010, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “board”, the second time it appears, the following words:- , currently known as the Middleborough gas and electric board of commissioners.
SECTION 5. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
