AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF LEICESTER TO CONTINUE THE EMPLOYMENT OF KENNETH M. ANTANAVICA

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth M. Antanavica, police chief of the town of Leicester, may continue to serve in that position until April 30, 2025 or until the date of his retirement, whichever occurs first, provided, however, that Kenneth M. Antanavica shall be mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of the position. No further deductions shall be made from the regular compensation of Kenneth M. Antanavica under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to April 30, 2023 and upon retirement, he shall receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he retired on that date.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage
