In the Year Two Thousand and Nine

An Act relative to the purchase of flags in the Commonwealth.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 516 of the Acts of 2008 is hereby amended by striking out, after the words ‘ United States ’ , the second time it appears , the clause ‘provided, however, that a flag shall be considered manufactured in the United States if a substantial majority of the principal components are assembled into the final product in an assembly plant in the United States.’
