An Act Relative to Real Estate Taxes in the Town of Wayland.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.    Chapter 161 of the acts of 2000 is hereby amended by striking out the text and inserting in place thereof the following:-

The town of Wayland may appropriate monies for and grant property tax rebates in an amount not to exceed annually the amount of the income tax credit set forth in paragraph (2) of subsection (k) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws to persons who qualify for a credit on their Massachusetts income tax under the provisions of said subsection of said section of said chapter.
