An Act Repealing the Tenure of the City Clerk, City Collector and City Engineer of the City of Revere.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 199 of the Acts of 1923, relative to the tenure of the City Clerk of the City of Revere, Chapter 314 of the Acts of 1946 and Chapter 442 of the Acts of 1948, relative to the tenure of the City Collector of the City of Revere and Chapter 215 Sections 1 and 2 of the Acts of 1938 relative to the tenure of the City Engineer of the City of Revere are hereby repealed provided however that the tenure of the incumbent City Clerk of the City of Revere and tenure of the incumbent City Collector of the City of Revere and the incumbent City Engineer of the City of Revere, on the effective date of this act shall not be affected by the provisions of this section.
