An Act
VALIDATING A CERTAIN VOTE PASSED BY THE TOWN OF FOXBOROUGH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law to the contrary, the vote passed by the voters of the town of Foxborough at the election held on May 4, 2009 to exempt from the provisions of section 21C of chapter 59 of the General Laws the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued for construction costs in order to complete the repair and or renovation of Foxborough High School, including the hiring of engineers, architects and or consultants for the purpose of preparing design plans and specifications, to include contract documents and estimates of construction costs relating thereto of
said facility, is hereby ratified, validated, and confirmed notwithstanding any defect or omission in the calling of the election as related to the vote.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
