An Act relative to the Brewster Board of Water Commissioners.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 3 and 4 of chapter 172 of the acts of 1938, and section 8 of chapter 552 of the acts of 1965 or any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the board of selectmen of the town of Brewster shall, after the effective date of this act, appoint the members of the town's board of water commissioners as the membership terms of the commissioners expire, and the board of water commissioners shall thereafter be an appointed board.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
