An Act authorizing the town of Westford, acting by and through its conservation commission, to lease a certain parcel of land for camp purposes.
Whereas
, The deferred operation for this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is forthwith to make , therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate
and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1 Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary and pursuant to the provisions of Article 97 of the Amendments
to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Town of Westford, acting by and through its Conservation Commission, is hereby authorized to lease, license or rent use of facilities at the East Boston Camps Property on Depot Street and Nuttin
g Road, shown on Town Assessors’ MAP 31
a
s Parcel 37, for camp purposes for no more than ten years.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
