An Act authorizing the city of Beverly to convey certain land located in the city of Beverly.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding chapter 30B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the city of Beverly, by its mayor, is hereby authorized to convey, transfer, and exchange to and with Richard J.
Maestranzi
and Leo J.
Maestranzi
, by deed approved as to form by its city solicitor, a certain parcel of land, situated off of
Brimbal
Avenue in Beverly, being shown as “Parcel V” on the plan entitled “Survey and Division of Land in Beverly, MA” dated July 21, 2000 prepared by Louis
Federici
& Associates and recorded with the Essex South District Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 356, Plan 11. Parcel V consists of 6.62 acres, more or less, according to
said
plan.
The consideration for this conveyance, transfer and exchange shall be the settlement agreement related to litigation filed in the Essex Superior Court Docket Number ESCV2002-01580 entitled
Richard J.
Maestranzi
and Leo J.
Maestranzi
vs. City of Beverly
, as the same may be amended from time to time.
SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
