An Act r elative to p roperty t axes in the t own of Carver.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding section 58 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, or any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the town of Carver may allow any taxpayer who paid at least twice the preliminary tax bill issued on November 21, 2008, plus 2 ½ percent a s allowed under proposition 2 ½ by the due date of the preliminary tax bill, December 22, 2008 and who are otherwise ineligible under the provisions of said section 58 of said chapter 59, to receive the 3 percent discount on the amount paid.

SECTION 2.   Th is act shall take effect upon its passage.
