An Act validating certain proceedings in the town of Rutland.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 1 of chapter 39 of the Massachusetts general laws or any other general or special law or by-law to the contrary, all votes, acts and proceedings taken by the town of Rutland, an d all votes cast by the voters of the town of Rutland at the annual town meeting of May 10, 2010 and the adjourned portion of said meeting held on May 15, 2010, and all actions taken pursuant thereto, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed in all res pects, notwithstanding any defects or omissions in posting, as if said annual town meeting warrant had been posted in full compliance with state and town bylaws.

              SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
