An Act to generate additional revenue for cities and towns
By Mr. Kafka of Stoughton, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2539) of Louis L. Kafka and James E. Timilty for legislation to provide additional sales tax revenue for cities and towns. Revenue.
SECTION 1. Section 25A of Chapter 58 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “urban renewal subsidies,” in line 8, the following provision: “and 0.75% of the state sales tax,”.
