An Act authorizing borrowing by cities and towns at zero percent from the Commonwealth for green energy sources
By Mr. Frost of Auburn, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2938) of Paul K. Frost for legislation to authorized cities and towns to borrow from the Commonwealth without interest for green energy programs for such municipalities. Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy.
SECTION 1. Chapter 44 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 8C the following section:-
Section 8D. A city or town may borrow from the commonwealth at zero per cents funds for the expenses of studying or creating green energy sources of power within such city or town.
