An Act exempting the position of apprentice lineman in the town of Norwood from the civil service law.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the position of apprentice lineman in the town of Norwood shall be exempt from chapter 31 of the General Laws.

SECTION 2.  Nothing in this act shall impair the civil service status of a person holding the position of apprentice lineman subject to chapter 31 of the General Laws in the town of Norwood on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
