An Act authorizing the town moderator of the town of Monson to act as an election officer in certain elections.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 15 of chapter 54 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town moderator in the town of Monson may act as an election officer for any state or presidential primary or state election; provided, however, that said town moderator shall not act as an election officer where their name appears on the ballot.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
