An Act relative to charter reconsideration .
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 89 of Chapter 71 of the general laws is hereby amended in section (ee) by inserting the following additional paragraph:- The board may also, on its own motion or by request, reconsider its grant of a charter and revoke or suspend said charter within six months of approval of that charter; provided, that the revocation must be accompanied by written findings explaining the action of the board; provided further, that the charter applicant shall be given sufficient notice and an opportunity to be heard before the board on the matter. |
