The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
AN ACT RELATIVE SUMMARY TO PROCESS MODIFICATION .
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11A of chapter 186 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words “for other than dwelling purposes”.
SECTION 2. Section 12 chapter 186 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “will,” in line 10, the following words:- unless a written lease provides otherwise in accordance with the provisions of this chapter,”.
SECTION 3. Section 9 of chapter 239 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition , is hereby amended, in line 7, after the word “in” by inserting following words :- sections eleven A and”.
