The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act authorizing the water commissioners to act as sewer commissioners in the town of Freetown.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, water commissioners in the Town of Freetown are hereby authorized to act as sewer commissioners. The sewer commissioners shall have all the powers, perform the duties and be subject to the liabilities and penalties now or hereafter conferred and imposed by law on town water commissioners and town sewer commissioners. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
