An Act relative to the teaching of American Sign Language. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Section 2B of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official edition, is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:- “School committees shall credit such courses toward satisfaction of foreign language requirements, provided that the courses shall meet the standards for all other foreign language courses that the district offers for credit.” |
