The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to Group 2 employees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended in subsection (g) paragraph 3 by inserting after the words “employees of Cushing hospital”, in line XXX, the following:—
;employees of the Commonwealth whose regular and major duties require them to provide treatment for, or be responsible for, the care of persons who are mentally ill, mentally retarded, chronically psychologically impaired or who are persons with chronic infectious disease ; or registered nurses and other health care professions that are state employees to a “professional status” for the purposes of their retirement.
