The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act providing equitable treatment for post-acute care hospitals.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 25B of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 23, 28, 29, and 44, the words "acute care."
SECTION 2: The department of public health shall implement the provisions of this act as part of the determination of need review no later than 90 days after the effective date.
