The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act to reduce the costs for adoption.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new subsection:
(q) There is hereby established a credit for licensed Massachusetts attorneys who provide pro bono legal services in at least one adoption per year. The credit shall be no more than $2500 in each tax year. |
