The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to political designations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 38 of Chapter 53 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting in line 19 after the word “primary” the following:- “provided further, that voters registered with a party or political designation which does not run a candidate shall be considered unenrolled and shall be eligible to receive a ballot of a political party of their choosing.” |
