The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to the interest rate on tax-deferred property.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Clause Forty-first A of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in line 1064, the words “chapter sixty;” and inserting in place thereof the following:-
“chapter sixty, or such lesser rate as may be determined by the legislative body of the city or town, subject to its charter;”
