The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act providing legal fees to innocent citizens.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 261 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 1 the following section:- Section 1A: All citizens of Massachusetts who are innocent of committing a felony or other heinous act shall have access to taxpayer-funded legal fees that are not less than those provided to any convicted wife murderer, except in criminal cases with respect to guilt or innocence. |
