The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An act relative to structured settlements and reserves.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first sentence of Section 120F of Chapter 175 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:- ";provided, however, that this section shall not apply to annuities issued to fund a structured settlement agreements." SECTION 2. Sections 1-3, inclusive, of Chapter 230 of the Acts of 2008 are hereby repealed. |
