Madden (by vote of the town) for legislation  to authorize the town of Aquinnah to refund tax payments and accrued interest from improperly assessed taxation in prior fiscal years 2005 and 2006.  Revenue.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act relative to authorizing the town of Aquinnah to refund a certain tax payment.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1. The town of Aquinnah, in order to equalize real estate taxation on all Town affordable housing lots, may take from available funds, the sum of $4,954.90 and refund to Geoffrey Craig (Spa) Tharpe the excess tax payments and accrued interest in the amount of $4954.90 that he made to the town of Aquinnah for fiscal years 2005 and 2006.

              SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
