An Act Designating Male Breast Cancer Awareness Week.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15OOOOO the following section:- Section 15PPPP. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the third week in October of each year as Male Breast Cancer Awareness Week to raise awareness of the occurrence of breast cancer in men and to encourage regular testing for breast cancer amongst all citizens of the Commonwealth, and recommending that said day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people. |
