Whereas
, The deferred operation for this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is forthwith to make a sick leave bank for a certain
employee of the Trial Court, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special, or rule or regulation to the c ontrary, the trial court shall establish a sick leave bank for Melissa Gordon , an employee of the trial court. Any employee of said department may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or va cation days to the sick leave bank for the use by Melissa Gordon . Whenever Melissa Gor don terminates employment with said department or request to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balan ce of the sick leave bank time shall be transferred to the trial court paid sick leave bank. Sick leave b ank days shall not be used for absences unrelated t o the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the sick leave ba nk as determined by the department . |
