An Act relative to electric poles. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 34B of Chapter 164 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding after the word ‘pole;’ in line 5 the following:— “Provided further, that a city or town may enforce this section by the enactment of a local ordinance or by law prohibiting double poles beyond the ninety days authorized by this section, violation of which may be punishable by a fine not to exceed a maximum of two thousand five hundred dollars per occurrence.” |
