An Act amending the enclosure for public and semipublic outdoor inground swimming pools..
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.  Section 206 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word ?link?, in line 5, the following words:- or of similar transparency.

              SECTION 2.  Said section 206 of said chapter 140, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 11, the word 'three' and inserting in place thereof the following:- 2'.

              SECTION 3.  The first paragraph of said section 206 of said chapter 140, as so appearing, is hereby further amended, by inserting after the third sentence, the following sentence:- An aluminum picket fence, including its gate, used as an enclosure for a public or semipublic outdoor inground swimming pool shall not have footholds, the spacing between vertical pickets, shall not exceed 4 inches including the spacing under the fence or any other opening, and the height of the fence shall not be less than 6 feet.
