The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act authorizing the town of Rochester to establish a water department and water supply system.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding the terms of Section thirty-nine A of Chapter forty, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Town of Rochester is authorized to create a water district or water supply system pursuant to Section thirty-nine A of Chapter forty.
Section 2. Said system shall be managed, improved and controlled by a board of water commissioners to be elected as provided by Section sixty-nine A of chapter forty-one.
Section 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
