The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
An Act relative to retirement groups.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, if a member is originally classified as Group 1, as enumerated in paragraph (g) of subdivision (2) of section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, that member must spend no less than 10 years in Groups 2, 3 or 4 to receive the benefits for the purposes of retirement, including superannuation retirement, allotted to this group. |
