Amendment #30 to H3400

Relative to Containing Health Care Costs in the Commonwealth II

[Sponsors] Representative Stanley of West Newbury moves to amend the bill by inserting after section XX, the following section:

“SECTION XX. Chapter 118E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 62 the following section: -

Section 63. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, MassHealth shall transfer all eligible members of the primary care clinician/mental health and substance abuse plan into a health maintenance organization under contract before the end of FY2012 pursuant to applicable federal law and regulations.”
