Judicial Determination to Continue Appointed Counsel for Non Indigent Perso

[Sponsors] Representative Khan of  Newton and Provost of Somerville move that the bill be amended in SECTION 60, in lines 774 to 777, by striking “provided further that if the judge determines that the revocation would have a materially adverse effect on the interests of the person for whom counsel was appointed, the judge shall permit the retention of counsel and shall require the person for whom counsel was appointed to pay a fee for counsel and court costs at the same rate of compensation as the counsel fee established in section 11.”
