Increase competition & savings in the delivery of state contractor services

Mr. Winslow of Norfolk moves to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Section 6 of chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (g), the following:-

(h) If the time for acceptance specified in the solicitation expires and the chief procurement officer receives only one response for proposal, the officer shall re-open the solicitation process for a period of time specified for the receipt of bids in the original request.”
