DOC Higher Education Programming

Ms. Khan of Newton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8900-1100, in line 7, by inserting after “programs” the following: “; and provided further, that not less than $110,000 shall be expended for the Department of Correction to cover costs associated with coordinating and supporting partnerships with higher education institutions that provide post-secondary education programs in state prisons”; and in said item 8900-1100 by striking out the figures "$1,524,594" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$1,634,594".
