CHAPTER 567 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF GRANBY TO BORROW MONEY TO REIMBURSE THE SURPLUS REVENUE ACCOUNT OF SAID TOWN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The treasurer of the town of Granby with the approval of the board of selectmen is hereby authorized to issue bonds or notes of the town in an amount not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars to be credited to the surplus revenue account of said town as reimbursement for funds expended to retire a note in the principal amount of one hundred thousand dollars, issued in anticipation of reimbursement by the commonwealth and the United States, authorized by a vote passed on March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and eighty-two under Article 19 of the warrant for the annual town meeting. Bonds or notes issued under this act shall otherwise be subject to the provisions of chapter forty-four of the General Laws applicable to other debt incurred under said vote.
