Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
The division of capital planning and operations is hereby authorized, subject to the provisions of sections forty E to forty J, inclusive, of chapter seven of the General Laws, to sell and convey to the Cambridge Housing Authority, by deed approved as to form by the attorney general, a certain parcel of land located in the city of Cambridge, described in deed of Central Trust Co. to Commonwealth of Massachusetts recorded in the southern district registry of deeds, in the county of Middlesex in Book 6873, Pages 352 and 353, subject to such terms and conditions as the said division may prescribe, notwithstanding the restrictions of clause (ii) of subparagraph (b) of section thirty-one of chapter one hundred and twenty-one B of the General Laws.
The said land shall be used for the purpose of developing low or moderate income housing and provided that if the land is not used for said purposes within five years from the effective date of this act, said land shall revert to the commonwealth.
