CHAPTER 2 AN ACT AUTHORIZING PAUL MYLETT TO TAKE THE NEXT OPEN COMPETITIVE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR POLICE OFFICER IN THE CITY OF BOSTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law or rule to the contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as a police officer, Paul Mylett shall be eligible to take the next open competitive entrance examination for police officer in the city of Boston and, provided he meets all other requirements, shall be eligible for certification and appointment as a police officer in the city of Boston.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
