Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The second paragraph of section 9 of chapter 150E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1984 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Any such mediator shall be empowered to order the parties to provide specific representatives authorized to enter into a collective bargaining agreement to be present at meetings held for said purpose of resolving the impasse and negotiating such an agreement.
