CHAPTER 548 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE CONSERVATION COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF MASHPEE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of section eight C of chapter forty of the General Laws, the board of selectmen of the town of Mashpee are hereby authorized to appoint three associate members of the conservation commission of said town for terms not to exceed one year. The chairman of said commission may designate any such associate member to sit on the board in case of absence of a quorum or failure of a quorum by reason of conflict of interest or other reason or in the event of a vacancy on said commission until said vacancy is filled in the manner provided in said section eight C of said chapter forty.
