CHAPTER 471 AN ACT REQUIRING MOTOR VEHICLES TRANSPORTING SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN TO DISPLAY THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 7BB the following section:-

Section 7CC. Every person or company contracting to transport by motor vehicle one or more special needs children who are enrolled in a public or private school shall conspicuously display, in lettering, not less than four inches square, on such motor vehicle the name and address of the owner thereof. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of one hundred dollars.
