CHAPTER 599 AN ACT VALIDATING A CERTAIN VOTE TAKEN BY THE TOWN OF WEST NEWBURY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The action taken by the town of West Newbury by the vote taken at the election held on May fifth, nineteen hundred and eighty-six to exempt from the annual tax limitations of section twenty-one C of chapter fifty-nine of the General Laws on bonds to be issued to enlarge, renovate and furnish the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial library is hereby ratified, validated, and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect or omission in the calling of said election.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
