Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section ten of chapter seventy-eight of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Easton is hereby authorized to establish a board of trustees of the Easton public library which shall consist of six members appointed by the board of selectmen of said town. The initial appointments shall be made as follows: two persons shall be appointed for a term of one year, two persons shall be appointed for a term of two years, and two persons shall be appointed for a term of three years. Thereafter two persons shall be appointed annually to serve for a term of three years.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
