CHAPTER 149 AN ACT EXEMPTING THE POSITION OF PRINCIPAL CIVIL ENGINEER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF TRAFFIC ENGINEERING OF THE CITY OF WORCESTER FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The position of principal civil engineer in the department of traffic engineering of the city of Worcester shall be exempt from the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.
SECTION 2. The provisions of section one of this act shall not impair the civil service status of the incumbent of said position of principal civil engineer in the department of traffic engineering of the city of Worcester on the effective date of this act.
