Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The first paragraph of section 145B of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1986 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- A copy of such a veterinarian's certification shall be sent by the licensed veterinarian who so vaccinated the dog, within thirty days of such vaccination, to the city or town clerk wherein such owner or keeper resides.
