CHAPTER 206 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GARDNER TO ISSUE ADDITIONAL LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the city of Gardner is hereby authorized to issue a club license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises under the provisions of section twelve of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight to the Gardner Deep Sea Club, Inc. and to the Gardner Deer Club, Inc. subject to all the provisions of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight except for section seventeen; provided, however, that the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of said license to any other persons, organization, corporation or location; and provided, further, that the issuing of any license as herein authorized shall reduce by one any increase in licenses issued under the provisions of said section seventeen.
